The result sounds and looks completely different to Nevermore to sleep, the previous production in which Judith and the same musicians were involved. No piano, vibraphone, or collages this time, but an erratic, compelling mix of electronics (keyboards, home-made strings and scratch tables, effects) and acoustic instruments (saxophones, trumpet, tuba, clarinet, mandoline, and drums). Soprano Judith Vindevogel and a rock performer throw their voices together. A cycle of songs with fannies and balls. It’s all there, but we keep on wanting.

Sindsdien val ik (Since  then I fall), the second part of the double bill It’s all there / since then I fall integrates new and old text by Elvis Peeters. These words were selected and put into a sequence by An de Donder and Luk Mishalle. Not to make a logical story, but a tableau of happenings and emotions that turn out to be in an eternal flux. What is it with Wiederholdungsdrang? Does life make us wiser? Why do we walk into the same wall over and over? Is once not enough to know that it hurts?

That is the starting point. Such a thing might make life hard, but in this case it also makes life a performance: words are screamed, whispered, sung, on beats and in between wild improvisations and calm moments.
