Five folk songs that were recorded in Antwerp between 1544 and 1944 serve as research material in this project. Through conversations with a.o. people specialised in cultural heritage, Folk musicians, politicians, lay people, and newcomers, a network of current interpretations of this material will be identified.

In 2019 and 2020 there will be a number of (location) projects, in which old folk songs from Antwerp will be updated in an urban context. Together with Antwerpians and artists, Teletext will search for a new shape for this legacy.
