Carsten Jensen took the group in tow for a whole day. He told them impressive stories, gave them a tour of the town, went to the Maritime Museum with them, took them out to sea and invited them to dinner in a restaurant. As icing on the cake he took them to the performance of The, the drowned in the evening.
Massive thanks to our partner kleinVerhaal, without whom this journey would have stayed a distant dream, and Jelle Van Riet for the beautiful account of this unforgettable journey.
‘‘They [all of the participants of this co-reading adventure] are a writer’s dream.’ he says [Carsten Jensen]. ‘Because they read the book aloud they gave it the polyphony that I intended with my all-knowing we-narrator’ (…)”
