Roman Klochkov migrated from Kazachtstan to Belgium. He studied audiovisual arts (animation) at the KASK in Ghent. His graduation film  Administrators was selected for the prestigious  International Animation film festival Annecy and the Montréal World Filmfestival. His first professional short animation Natasha was awarded by a.o. Anima, the animation film festival in Brussels. Roman collaborated with his wife Roman Anna Heuninck for Fidelio, the animation by WALPURGIS.
